The outcome of the German federal elections on February 23, 2025, will not only determine the country’s future direction in domestic, economic, and social policy. It will also have far-reaching implications beyond Germany’s borders in the heart of Europe. Key issues include Berlin’s future stance within the European Union and NATO, Germany’s policy on the Ukraine conflict, and, not least, its positioning in response to new challenges in transatlantic relations. In this webinar, our experts will first analyze and comment on the domestic political landscape just days before the elections. Based on the latest polling data, we will discuss potential governing coalitions and their policy implications.
