At this Friday Ppdate, EPC Director of Studies Janis A. Emmanouilidis and EPC Chief Executive Fabian Zuleeg shared their analysis of the latest developments at EU and member state level, including on COVID-19 and Europe's response to the ongoing crisis. They were joined by Marta Pilati, Policy Analyst at the EPC.

This week'sUpdate dealt with the video conference of the European Council that took place earlier that day. EU leaders had a first discussion on the recovery fund and the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2021-2027, in preparation for what is intended to be a physical summit in July 2020.
