Das Parlament in Zypern hat das Rettungspaket von EU und IWF zurückgewiesen, das Land steht vor der Pleite. Zypern gilt als Steuerparadies mit lockeren Kontrollen und einem überdimensionierten Bankensektor. Russen, Ukrainer, Griechen, Briten, aber auch Österreicher haben dort ihr Geld geparkt, insgesamt mehr als 35 Milliarden Euro, oft zweifelhafter Herkunft. Sie alle sollen mitzahlen, um eine Pleite des Euro-Landes abzuwenden. Wird der kleine Inselstaat diese Krise bewältigen können und wenn ja, um welchen Preis?
