La UE seguirá apagando fuegos pero también hará frente a la raíz de la crisis

La UE inicia el lunes un nuevo curso político lleno de puntos calientes en la eurozona que obligarán a los líderes a seguir apagando fuegos, pero también a avanzar en una solución más sólida: la nueva arquitectura de la unión monetaria.
"A la eurozona ya no le quedan muchas medidas ad hoc en el tintero; quizás el Banco Central Europeo (BCE) sea el único que aún pueda tener algunas en la recámara, pero los líderes tienen que lidiar ahora con la raíz de los problemas y para ello la clave está en su visión para una nueva arquitectura de la Unión Económica y Monetaria", señaló hoy a Efe Janis Emmanouilidis, analista del Centro para la Política Europea (EPC, en inglés).
Los líderes tendrán que actuar como "bomberos", apagar fuegos como han hecho desde el inicio de la crisis, pero al menos ahora reconocen la gravedad de la situación y son muy conscientes de los problemas de fondo, aseguró.

Previamente, la Comisión Europea publicará sus previsiones económicas, que servirán como termómetro de la crisis y de las perspectivas de recuperación, aunque Emmanouilidis ya augura: "La crisis nos seguirá acompañando en 2013 y más allá".
