El choque más visible gira en torno a los eurobonos, la idea fuerza de Hollande apoyada por Monti: “Italia está muy a favor de ellos cuando llegue el momento, que no tardará mucho”. La Comisión Europea también está en ello, aunque a plazo indeterminado.
“Se llegará a un acuerdo. Llevamos 60 años haciéndolo”, vaticina una fuente comunitaria implantada a fondo en el sistema. Los analistas están de acuerdo. “No creo que lleguen a formarse dos frentes, ni que haya choque”, adelanta Janis Emmanouilidis, politólogo del European Policy Centre, un gabinete de estudios con sede en Bruselas. “Se impondrá el pragmatismo. De aquí al Consejo decisorio de finales de junio queda tiempo suficiente para pactar un paquete en el que irán de la mano recortes de gastos y apoyos económicos y financieros. Habrá algún tipo de colateralización de deuda, que se podrá presentar como una especie de eurobonos, y Francia dirá que se va por el buen camino”. Emmanouilidis apunta que la recalcitrante Holanda ya habla de esta posible salida del embrollo: “No se trata de abandonar la posición, sino de dar más tiempo a los países para reformarse”, porque Alemania se está planteando los costes para ella misma de la rigidez impuesta a otros, dice.
