Portugalsko včera přiznalo barvu. Bez pomoci Evropské unie se neobejde. Na úvěru, který bude mířit do Lisabonu, se však bude podílet i Česká republika, a to v případě, že by země čerpala pomoc i z Evropského mechanismu finanční stability (EFSM). Záruky za úvěry by tak Česko vyšly maximálně na 11,25 miliard korun, a to v případě, že by Portugalsko vyčerpalo celý zůstatek v mechanismu, což je nepravděpodobné. Mechanismus stability funguje po boku záchranného fondu eurozóny a účastní se jej 27 členských zemí. [...]
Oficiální žádost portugalská vláda vyhotoví ještě dnes a zašle ji Evropské komisi. Má to ale jeden háček. José Sócrates sice žádá o pomoc, na křeslo premiéra ale před 14 dny rezignoval. Portugalsko čeká tvrdá předvolební kampaň. "Těžko se s udržovací vládou jedná o podmínkách úvěru. Ale mohou najít dočasné řešení a to se po volbách může změnit na permanentní," míní analytik Centra pro evropskou politiku Janis Emmanouilidis. [...]
