Janis Emmanouilidis participated in a panel debate at the first EU Integration Forum of the Robert Bosch Stiftung in Essen, Germany.

The Forum brought together more than 100 young political decision makers to discuss the future of the EU. The Forum was initiated by the Robert Bosch Stiftung under the auspices of Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, with the goal of creating an EU-wide network of young leaders and thinkers that are committed to shaping the future of the European Union.

On September 19 and 20 participants discussed whether a new pact is needed between the EU and its citizens - on the one hand, to strengthen the public’s sense of responsibility for the European project, and on the other, to enhance the EU’s ability to address the issues of greatest concern to its citizens.
