Presentation of the Post-Summit Analysis at the EPC Post-Summit Briefing, at which speakers analysed the outcome of the EU summits on 26 October 2011.

The panel discussion included Marco Zatterin, La Stampa, Brussels, Fabian Zuleeg, EPC Chief Economist, and Janis Emmanouilidis, Senior Policy Analyst at the EPC. The debate was moderated by Hans Martens, EPC Chief Executive.

The briefing was introduced by Janis A. Emmanouilidis, who presented an analysis of the outcome of the Euro Summit, which he had also laid down in an EPC Commentary The complex end of a summit marathon. In it he argued that EU leaders have added a number of essential ingredients to an already very compound crisis recipe. But many crucial details still need to be elaborated and it is far from certain whether the package as a whole will stand the test of time.
